Insulated sectional doors are manufactured with a polystyrene insulation with a steel back or a heavy duty pre painted inner and outer skins for added corrosion-resistance with insulation filling in between skins. American Door sectional steel doors come in standard white, brown, and custom colors that are available with multiple window selections and types. Sectional doors are available in push-up, chain hoist, and motor operation.

18-gauge steel end caps and two 1 3/4 roll-formed integral struts per section.
Thermal break seperates inner and outer skins.
Insulation cavity filled with foamed in-place CFC free polyurethane core.
Joint seals between sections and vinyl bulb shaped astragal for bottom section.
Oil-tempered helical-wound torsion springs.
Rollers are steel ball bearings with case hardened races.
Hinges and brackets made from hot-dipped galvanized steel.
Lift cables are aircraft-type galvanized.
