• For over thirty years, American Door has been manufacturing, installing and servicing rolling door products. As American Door has developed a portfolio of world-class clients, we have also developed a sophisticated Preventive Maintenance Program to protect client assets.
  
  Preventive maintenance involves the regular inspection, testing, replacement or repair of door equipment and operational systems. As a facility best management practice (BMP) a Preventative Maintenance Program can prevent breakdowns and failures through adjustment, repair or replacement of equipment before a major breakdown or failure occurs.
  
  American Doors Preventive Maintenance Program can extend the useful life of doors, hardware, operators, electrical control panels, access systems and dock equipment as well as prevent costly and unexpected repairs. By routinely inspecting and lubricating parts, most commonly found wear induced breakdowns can be eliminated.
  
  The purpose of American Doors Preventive Maintenance Program is to establish a consistent routine of maintenance for your doors, hardware, operators and loading dock equipment. Longer life, more reliable product performance and early detection of operational malfunctions are the program objectives. To maximize the effectiveness of this program, a priority file is established for each client. These client files include a detailed map of the physical location of all doors, operators and dock equipment, identified by a number already established by the client or assigned by our PM team personnel. Specific information will be kept on all equipment including manufacturer, serial number, size, type and similar important data. Detailed records of all inspections, results, actions recommended or taken will be provided to the client and recorded.

Experience has proven that periodic preventive maintenance and careful inspection can reduce both downtime and repair expenses, while extending the useful life and operating efficiency of all door and dock equipment.
